Code.org is commitment to designing curriculum that support state and national standards for CS and AI education. The states below has state-specific alignments, CSTA alignments are available for states mapping to national standards.

AI Foundations

Explore how the AI Foundations curriculum aligns to your state’s computer science standards. We’ve completed detailed, lesson and unit-level alignment mappings for 35 states with unique CS standards. Simply select your state to review the alignment. States without dedicated CS standards, can access the full CSTA Standards alignment for the AI Foundations curriculum. Current correlations include the first semester, with the second semester to follow for the upcoming academic year.

AI & CS Standards

These standards provide a level of specificity that offers guidance to novice CS teachers while allowing experienced CS teachers room for professional growth.

Free set of elementary curricula that introduces students to the foundational concepts of computer science and challenges them to explore how computing and technology can impact the world.

Grades 3-5

Computer Science Connections

Makes connections between learning computer science (CS) and other subjects like math, language arts, science, and social studies.

Computer Science Discoveries

Introduces students to building their websites, apps, animations, games and physical computing systems.

Artificial Intelligence Foundations

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Foundations is a free, flexible curriculum which introduces students to the core principles and real-world applications of computer science.

Computer Science Principles

Free year-long curriculum that introduces students to the foundational concepts of computer science and challenges them to explore how computing and technology can impact the world. Can be taught as an introductory class and as an AP course.

Computer Science A

Introduce students to software engineering and object-oriented design while they learn the Java programming language in this free curriculum for AP® Computer Science A (AP® CSA).
