National AI Literacy Day: Teaching Students to Question AI: Practical Classroom Strategies for Critical Evaluation

Students often assume AI outputs are correct, neutral, or comprehensive. To commemorate this year National AI Literacy Day, we've created this session to help teachers implement routines that help learners evaluate accuracy, detect bias, and decide when AI’s suggestions should be accepted, revised, or rejected. Join Micah Kennedy, Code.org's Professional Learning Manager, as they explore quick classroom moves, like comparing AI’s reasoning to a student’s own process or checking AI-generated claims against trusted sources that strengthen digital and media literacy while building confidence and discernment.

Code.org Office Hours

Stop by and pose questions, connect with peer educators, or dive into new curriculum!

Code.org AI Foundations Office Hours

Have questions about AI Foundations? Our virtual educator office hours are for you! This is an open, informal space to ask any and all questions you have about AIF, our newest 8th-12th grade foundational-level CS curriculum. Join Caison Bridger, Code.org's Growth Manager, and Emma Wingreen, Code.org's Curriculum Content Developer, in addressing your questions, from what AI Foundations is to its implementation district-wide. Any and all questions are welcome! We encourage you to attend the AI Foundations webinar earlier this day for an overview and context, but it’s not required to participate in Office Hours. Join us for both, or one or the other!
