John Landa has a BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from UC Berkeley. He started his career as a software engineer and is a former dot-comer. He spent six years teaching Math and Computer Science at South Gate and South East Highs (inner city schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District). John contributed to the Exploring Computer Science curriculum including writing the Scratch unit. The past six years he has spent as a Computer Science Coach supporting LAUSD teachers both in the classroom and during professional development workshops.
