Register for a Code Studio workshop (for teachers, grades K-5)

Taught by Code.org Affiliates who are experienced computer science educators, our free workshops will prepare you to teach the Code Studio courses for grades K-5.

The workshop will be taking place at the same time as the SIGGRAPH Conference. Attendees will receive complimentary Exhibits Plus registration to the conference. For more information about the exhibits check out http://s2015.siggraph.org/attendees. Workshop Attendees are also required to register for SIGGRAPH ni order to enter the workshop. A code is required to register for free. It will be given to you from Steve once your participation is verified.

Steve is an Instructional Technology TOSA working with Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). He is currently a part of the Instructional Technology Initiative, supporting the instructional and professional growth needs of administrators and teachers within the LAUSD’s 1 to 1 initiative. Steve has 20 years of classroom experience in the areas of educational technology, computer science, and biological science. He is on the Board CUE's Los Angeles Affiliate. Steve is a California transplant hailing from Weymouth, Massachusetts and a graduate of University of California Irvine in Biological Sciences. He holds an MA in Educational Technology from San Diego State University and an MA in Educational Leadership & Administration from Cal State University Northridge.
